Alexandra Durnford

With over twenty years of experience in issues, crisis and reputation management, Alexandra is now an executive coach and mediator. She works with entrepreneurs, boards, CEOs and senior leaders in media, healthcare and professional services on improving inter-personal relationships, developing emotional intelligence and conflict resolution.

Having spent decades advising leaders and teams making decisions under intense professional and public scrutiny, she brings calm and directness to coach senior leaders on understanding how their style and behaviour positively and negatively impacts their sponsors, peers and teams. She has a particular interest in neuroscience, neuroplasticity and the psychology of behaviour.

Alexandra is a graduate of The Meyler Campbell Mastered Programme and prior to establishing her own coaching practice in 2016, was a Board Director at Regester Larkin (now owned by Deloitte) where she advised international organisations in highly regulated industries on managing threats to their licence to operate. She has an MA in English Literature from St Andrews University and a MSc in The Neuroscience and Psychology of Mental Health from King’s College London
