Anna Phillips

A former Global Director of Executive Development for Royal SunAlliance, Anna has over twenty years’ experience in people development and talent management. A coach, coach tutor and leadership development consultant, she works extensively in international and cross-cultural settings and in organisations undergoing significant change. Freelance since 2003, Anna has built a successful practice coaching business leaders in a variety of sectors: she tutors and coaches on a leadership development programme for Europe’s largest law firm, is a certified mindfulness teacher, and runs workshops on personal tools for success. Anna’s work is further underpinned by an MSc in Learning & Development and a Diploma in Performance Coaching for Business.

Anna discovered coaching whilst a leader herself, as a way to draw out the best in people and developed a passion for it. She believes coaching is an essential tool for transformation at every level: for individuals and teams, coaching leads to a greater sense of self-efficacy and engagement; at organisational level, it can engender a climate of curiosity and a culture of continuous learning. Anna argues that this is vital to business success in our volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous world.
