A Christmas message from Catherine Devitt, CEO of Meyler Campbell
As another year draws to its close and I reflect on all that has happened this year I am struck yet again by how lucky I am to be part of the wonderful community of people that is the Meyler Campbell alumni, faculty and team.
Community has always been at the heart of Meyler Campbell’s work and is one of the reasons why we continue to attract warm and generous people who aspire to be part of such a community. Your contribution ensures that the values of abundance, curiosity, kindness and support continue to be lived every day in all that we do. If you are in any doubt as to the truth of those sentiments I urge you to review just a few of the hundreds of wonderful photographs from this year’s graduation, the annual lecture and the Christmas networking event – the warmth and energy emanating from them is extraordinary.
We are a community that has benefitted enormously from the vast range of experience brought to it by its 600+ alumni. To ensure that as coaches we continue to serve the diverse needs of the global working population we need to constantly challenge ourselves to do our best work through continuous learning from others. At Meyler Campbell we are committed to ensuring that our ongoing attraction strategy will always welcome those who share our values; that regardless of their background they can look at our community and recognise ‘people like them’ amongst our number. In the words of one of this year’s graduates ‘when I found Meyler Campbell I knew I’d found my tribe’.
This year we were delighted to build and launch Connected, a place where all of our community could come together to learn, share and discover. We are very happy with the great feedback we have received so far but we are not resting on our laurels, we want to make it even better so that it can be a rich source of learning and support for you as a coach. We have convened a representative advisory group of volunteers to help us with that but we also need your help. You can access a short survey herewhere you can share your views of what we’ve done so far and tell us what more you want us to do. We would really appreciate it if you would spare 5 minutes to complete it, by sharing your views you will benefit the whole community’s learning.
And finally, what would Christmas be without Christmas presents? We want to share two gifts with you which we hope you will enjoy:-
I wish you a very Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy and fulfilling year in 2019.
