A Strategic Reputation Management specialist who drives companies and individuals to think objectively and differently about thorny issues in their leadership and communications.
Sheldon Daniel is a Strategic Reputation Management specialist who drives companies and individuals to think objectively and differently about thorny issues in their leadership and communications. He is the former Director of Corporate Responsibility at the BP Group and has over two decades of experience serving an extensive multinational clientele across the Caribbean, UK, and Ghana. He works primarily with corporate executives in the energy and financial sectors in 35 countries – some 300 of whom have been senior leaders from the Caribbean region. A proud product of the Caribbean, Sheldon’s core experience focuses on strengthening and building bridges in the strategic interaction between business and society. His career has revolved around guiding corporate leaders to skillfully navigate challenging external issues, and to enhance commercial value by proactively managing social, political, and environmental impacts to business. A digital nomad who splits his time between London, Warsaw and Trinidad, his coaching quest is to build extraordinary leaders who excel at crafting enduring relationships and who thrive in a diverse and intellectually curious environment. He believes that contemporary business leaders should not just be visionary and technically solid, but they must also be keenly reflective, self-aware, and highly adaptive and responsive to external dynamics. Sheldon provides insight to clients with a method best described as eclectic pragmatism. In co-creating each unique solution for his clients, he brings elements of humour, history, creativity, role-play, literature, music, sports, popular culture, and cross-cultural references to his practice.
