A short review of a successful book launch this month; "Kindness in Leadership".
A successful book launch for Ali Gill and her Kindness in Leadership colleagues. Kindness in Leadership is one of the first books to explore both the concept and practice of kindness in leadership and consider them in different societal and organisational settings.
The event was hosted by the Financial Times NED Club. Over 80 people attended the launch and took part in an enthusiastic celebration of the vital importance of Kindness to Public and Private Sector Organisations.
To open the celebration, the authors read short quotes and paragraphs from the book on the positive impact that kind organisational policy and kind leadership can have on employee engagement and trust, customer relations and performance.
The royalties recieved by the authors will be given to charity - Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) will be the recipient of the royalties in 2018.
