Simon Calver has a rare combination of executive coaching expertise, boardroom insight and first-hand leadership experience. Simon has held CEO roles at major consumer-facing companies, including Mothercare Plc, and LOVEFiLM, the online pioneer that he scaled and successfully sold to Amazon. His leadership has been recognised with awards including E&Y Entrepreneur of the Year for London/SE and CBI Growth Company of the Year.

He also brings extensive board experience. Simon has chaired Fenwick, Gousto and Firefly, and currently chairs Vinterior and Marks & Spencer Bank, as well as serving as a Non-Executive Director at HSBC UK. He set up BGF Ventures and sat on the investment committee of the Business Growth Fund, giving him a deep understanding of investment, governance and business transformation.

Beyond business, Simon has shown his own commitment to resilience and purpose by rowing 3,000 miles across the Atlantic, raising over £160,000 for teenage mental health.
