Practice Client Scheme
Meyler Campbell’s Practice Client Scheme is a learning opportunity created for our Mastered coaches in training to take on coaching practice under the supervision of their Tutor.
Most of our course participants source their own practice clients, but occasionally some either have difficulty finding someone suitable or specifically want a coachee who is completely independent, and then they approach us for a recommendation. Many of our coaches are already experienced coaches and all are senior business people.
What is coaching?
Coaching gives leaders clarity and renewal, by providing time out, a space to think and an opportunity to regroup and go forward. The need will change constantly. You might need help with:
- Achieving personal performance objectives and the objectives of the business
- Key challenges and issues currently faced in work
- Capabilities and strengths to build further (or areas for development)
- Work relationships to strengthen or improve
- Projects that are particularly challenging or running into difficulties
- Things that would really make a difference to work, work / life balance, enthusiasm for and commitment to work
How to become a Practice Client
We encourage applications from individuals who would not otherwise be able to access coaching through their employment, especially those between roles and those working in the charity or not for profit sector.
We will need a short bio/CV from you along with an explanation as to why you are looking to be coached, once this information is received we then start the process of looking for a suitable coach. Once introduced to your coach, you will both have a chemistry session, and if all goes well this is followed by 3-4 coaching sessions. The sessions are by phone, video call or in person and are completely confidential between you and your coach.
The coach’s primary aim is to offer a skilled listening ear, and the space for you to think, reflect, plan and go forward. They are also able to draw upon an extensive resource of materials on resilience, mindfulness, self-care, and other topics that they could share with you if helpful.
