ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Born in New Zealand, Anne Scoular fled at the earliest opportunity to England, where her roots and heart lie. She co-founded Meyler Campbell in 1999 and continues to work tirelessly to promote its activities and Community. She is also an intermittent but happy gardener, and a passionate historian.
Following a successful global career as a diplomat and Citibank-trained international banker Anne retrained mid-career as a psychologist (PG Dip Psych and MSc Organisational Psychology – both with Distinction.) Among her many accolades Anne was named as one of five leading experts in business coaching globally by Harvard Business Review (2009), is the author of The Financial Times Guide to Business Coaching (First and Second editions), and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine. In 2018, Anne was appointed Visiting Scholar at Oxford Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. Anne is also co-author of “The Leader as Coach” article in the November-December 2019 Issue of the Harvard Business Review.
In March 2020, it was announced that Anne and her co-author Professor Herminia Ibarra had won the Warren Bennis Prize, awarded for the top-rated article (“The Leader As Coach“) on leadership in Harvard Business Review.
