Empowering Cancer Researchers
This is a wonderful opportunity for scientists to be supported as they take on increasingly complex leadership roles, and for coaches to experience an interesting and complex environment while supporting the world’s major cancer charity making breakthroughs across the prevention, detection and treatment of cancer.
Future Leaders Programme
The Future Leaders Programme is designed to attract and support exceptional research talent from all backgrounds. CRUK offers training, mentoring, and coaching, to help researchers achieve career milestones and foster innovation. Supported by Meyler Campbell, they are building a broader and more diverse community of scientists who bring new approaches, fresh perspectives and unique skillsets to the research landscape.
Impact in Numbers
Over six years, 74 Meyler Campbell trained coaches have supported over 100 researchers at CRUK. This is over 600 hours of coaching provided, valued at more than £1 million in pro bono support – thank you to everyone who has been part of this valuable patnership.
Reflections from Ann Orton
Having recently stepped down from her role Ann Orton, who was instrumental in establishing this partnership alongside her work as a Faculty Member at Meyler Campbell, reflects on the enthusiasm and reach of the programme, noting its ripple effect on research teams and the broader scientific community. The programme aims to continue fostering a supportive environment for researchers, with hopes of ongoing growth and positive impact.
