Earlier this month, we joined in supporting #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek by reflecting on the vital role community plays in positive mental health and wellbeing.
We invited members of the Meyler Campbell community to share what community means to them – personally and professionally. Their thoughtful reflections, along with an editorial note from Faculty Member Dr. Simmy Grover, are now available in a single downloadable publication. These contributions reveal the deep connection between coaching, mental health, and the strength we draw from one another in our respective communities.

Our heartfelt thanks to Kirstan Marnane, Richard Wade, Barbara Kearney, Mark Chamberlen, Ranti Williams, Sheldon Daniel, Rhian-Anwen Hamill, Dr. Saiyyidah Zaidi, and Alana Giles for their generous insights.
This week reminded us how vital open dialogue remains. Coaching continues to be a powerful force in building resilience and fostering spaces where people feel seen, heard, and supported. Let’s keep the momentum going – through honest conversations, mutual support, and ongoing investment in our collective wellbeing.
Together, we build stronger, more resilient communities – one conversation, one connection, and one act of support at a time.
Earlier this month, a special event was held at the UCL Cancer Institute to celebrate five years of partnership between Meyler Campbell and Cancer Research UK (CRUK). Since 2020, more than 60 Meyler Campbell coaches have volunteered their time to provide pro bono coaching to over 80 scientists as part of CRUK’s Future Leaders Programme.Faculty Member Ann Orton, who played an instrumental part in launching the programme, expressed gratitude to the coaches involved for their remarkable impact. Research Programme Manager Marjolein Schaap, highlighted the scale and progress of the programme so far, and one of our Meyler Campbell coaches, Claudia Reichmuth, shared a moving reflection on her coaching journey with Beth, one of the CRUK clinical lead scientists. If you are interested in finding more about this partnership, and perhaps offering your own services, you can do so here →
What can today’s leaders learn from conductors? The answer is ‘a lot’.In a world of instability and uncertainty, leaders are increasingly turning to their coaches for calmness, clarity, and precision in their decision-making, communication, and leadership. The impact of great coaching is evident in the successes of our clients.
Our Insights series delves into innovative thinking, challenges existing theories, and equips you with the knowledge to excel in your coaching practice. We begin with a fascinating and thoughtful piece by Alastair Levy, a Mastered graduate who has developed a unique coaching model that intertwines his experiences in leadership and coaching with his background as an orchestral and operatic conductor.
