These leaders are continuing to champion coaching, what positive impact are your future leaders having on your organisation?
Looking to establish a coaching culture among the next generation of their leaders, Meyler Campbell worked with a leading property consultancy to create a bespoke programme suited to their needs. Their aim: to enable a smooth transition in the short and medium term within their leadership team to create a solid foundation for the organisation’s future.
To achieve this, the group of future leaders spent time together on the programme adapting and developing their leadership styles. Each individual wanted to become a better leader. They fully embraced openness and mutual respect with one another, and were willing to try new things, even when this was uncomfortable at times. This allowed them to embrace and prioritise their scheduled programme sessions, as well as meeting informally, to accelerate their own learning and cemented their team rapport.
“The methods for exploring our thinking and our role in leadership were extremely powerful, and we have all begun to apply them in formal and informal situations at work, either in one-to-ones or as part of group-working”
“[The Unleashed programme] has been empowering for [my team] and eye-opening for me… Coupled with the greater self-awareness the course has given me, [it] is already paying dividends, making me a better leader and my team more energised and coherent”
The impact? The programme established a strong coaching culture at a high level within the organisation. This group of leaders were highly engaged and positive about their Unleashed experience. They finished confident and excited about the potential impact their learning could have on the organisation as a whole. These leaders still refer to themselves as ‘Unleashed’ and are a force for good, taking on cross divisional key strategic projects: including being champions for coaching across the organisation.
