A wonderful evening celebrating Meyler Campbell’s 25th Anniversary
Thank you to everyone who attended our 25th Anniversary Lecture with guest speaker Langley Sharp MBE earlier this month. We were delighted to see so many of you in person. The lecture was recorded and we’re pleased to share this with our Connected members here →
Langley’s address focused on lessons in Followership and was particularly impactful because it offered a perspective from a profession less familiar to many of us, while reminding us that the fundamentals endure. He demonstrated the fluid relationship between leaders and followers, emphasising the importance of character, belonging, empowerment, and responsibility. Langley also shared personal stories and some moving, remarkable images from his time in the Parachute Regiment, and we are grateful for his generosity in sharing these experiences.
Thank you to everyone who joined us, we look forward to celebrating our next milestone with you all.

Each year, through the John Stopford Scholarship, we offer a number of places on the Mastered Programme to leaders from the charity or not-for-profit sector. The scholarship aims to develop great coaches, grow coaching capability in the sector, and enhance diversity and understanding within the Meyler Campbell community. It is a wonderful opportunity for someone from the charity or not-for-profit sector to participate in a world-renowned business coaching programme.
Applicants must meet the standard entry criteria for the programme and work in either sector, either in an employed or voluntary capacity. To express interest and receive further information on how to apply, please email info@meylercampbell.com. We will be accepting applications until Friday 23rd January 2026.
Any jazzers out there?
Great coaching thrives on improvisation – just like jazz. A trio of our Meyler Campbell community are forming a loose jazz collective and are looking for other players. Whether you’re a beginner or playing at an intermediate level, if you’re interested they would love to hear from you. Currently in the band are: Simmy Grover (tenor sax), Alastair Rolfe (piano) and Stephen Page (drums).
