Meyler Campbell conquers the Thames Path Ultra Challenge
Two brave souls from our Meyler Campbell community took part in the Thames Path Ultra Challenge on the 9th and 10th September; the challenge consists of a mixture of walkers, joggers, and runners tackling up to 100km from Putney to Henley. Katie Driver, who graduated from the Mastered programme in 2013, chose to run the 50km (31 miles) on day one for her chosen charity, Mind. If you would like to support Katie’s Just Giving page, click here. Jo Minns, who graduated from the Mastered programme in 2017 and the Unlimited programme earlier this month, chose to walk the full 100km over the two days! The route started at Putney Bridge, and headed upstream to Henley along the famous Towpath, through Richmond, Hampton Court, Runnymede, and Windsor, with some wonderful scenery to the riverside finish line in Henley. Huge congratulations to both Jo and Katie!
Shine Night Walk, London
One of the Meyler Campbell team, Alana Giles, also recently completed a walking challenge for charity. On Saturday 23rd September, Alana walked 26.2 miles through the streets of London overnight in support of Cancer Research UK for the fourth time. She was joined by her mum, who completed this for the 10th time! Learn more about Shine Night Walk here
