In this month’s Digest, we announce two new Faculty members, Sara Beck & Sarah Davis – we know you will join us in making them feel welcome. We are looking forward to seeing many of you at the Summer Drinks tomorrow (1st July) and again in September at Graduation (24th September); you can also take a sneak peek into what we have coming up in our CPD & Events calendar.

Faculty Announcement: Welcome Sara Beck & Sarah Davis
We are delighted to announce the appointment of Sara Beck and Sarah Davis to our Faculty. Both have been longstanding and highly valued members of our community since graduating from Mastered, and we are thrilled to welcome them into these new roles. We look forward to the expertise, energy and perspective they will bring to our Faculty and wider community.
Sarah Davis is a former General Counsel and executive board member at Guardian Media Group, with senior legal leadership experience at ITV and BuzzFeed. Sarah now works as a leadership coach and fractional General Counsel, advising senior leaders and boards across media, culture and mission-driven organisations, and also holds trustee and non-executive roles including Vice Chair of UNICEF UK. Sara Beck brings 30 years of global leadership experience in frontline news and business academia to her executive coaching. She blends incisive questioning with board-level insight and a grounded presence, shaped by operating in complex, high-pressure environments. Learn more about Sara here →

Balance is a fundamental skill for coaches to learn. We strive to understand when to challenge vs. support, hold a moment of silence vs. probing for more, or be non-directive vs. sharing our experiences. The thought in each moment is “Does this serve the client’s best interests?”.
