Differentiating Yourself as a Coach

What's unqiue about you?

Meyler Campbell Co-Founder Anne Scoular stresses the importance of knowing how to differentiate yourself as a coach.

 

I used to review the individual 70-word profiles for the Graduation Yearbook. Each year I would tear my hair out when the batches started arriving from Claire – they were beige. Boring, even – hard to believe when you look around at events and see you extraordinary, diverse, often feisty, people! But most of the profiles, before Attila the Pen started on them, were similar – ‘want to make a difference’... ‘journey’… ‘passion’... (Journey and passion, hitherto useful words, are now over-used: what do you really want to say?)

The problem is, we are fish who have been swimming in our own goldfish bowl for so long, we take the scenery for granted, and forget that some of our gifts might in fact be unique.
