A leadership announcement to the community from Sabine Vinck, Board Chair at Meyler Campbell.
Dear my friends,
I am delighted to announce the appointment of Simon Fenton as the permanent CEO of Meyler Campbell. As you are aware, Simon has served as interim CEO since the start of the year. During that time, he has received huge support from Catherine as well as all our wonderful team including Daniel, Claire, Alana, Holly, Millie and Sophie. Plus has been able to spend time getting to know many in the wider Meyler Campbell community.
Those who know Simon have experienced his collaborative nature along with his energy and infectious enthusiasm – born of a belief in the power of coaching to change the fortunes of individuals and organisations. He graduated from the Mastered programme in 2020 and has been involved in coaching work with senior business leaders since then.
As a long-serving Spencer Stuart Partner, Simon has held numerous leadership roles within Spencer Stuart over the past 25 years and has advised clients around the world on their leadership needs. He brings first-hand experience with the challenges leaders face in multiple contexts and geographies. Simon’s background makes him the ideal person to help further build the reputation of Meyler Campbell and seek out new opportunities for Meyler Campbell and Spencer Stuart to join forces to the benefit of clients and their leaders.
I also want to note that Spencer Stuart has made an additional investment in Meyler Campbell, completing its acquisition of the business. This is a reflection of Spencer Stuart’s support and enthusiasm for the relationship, the expertise of the broader Meyler Campbell coaching network and the opportunity for Meyler Campbell’s capabilities to further align with Spencer Stuart’s and positively impact our clients and the leadership community at large. In the coming days, you may see communications from Spencer Stuart about this investment and the excitement about our future.
Simon and I share Spencer Stuart’s energy around this next chapter, as we know the contribution that we can make to the future success of Meyler Campbell, and we are looking forward to the opportunity to partner with the broader community and with our faculty.
Sabine Vinck
