SEASONAL MESSAGE FROM OUR CEO

Dear friends,

I approached the writing of my last Christmas message as Meyler Campbell CEO with some trepidation, what could I write that would be meaningful, would serve my legacy and would say what I wanted to say to you all? I swiftly came to the conclusion that I may be overthinking this and that simplicity was always a useful guide. So in honour of simplicity I just want to say two things:-

Firstly, thank you for being the generous, kind and inspirational people you are, you continue to make such a difference to so many people’s working lives, even more so now given the challenges so many people are facing both at home and across the world.

And secondly I wish you all joy, peace and fulfilment in the weeks and the year ahead.

A very merry everything to you all.

Le grá (with love)

Catherine
CEO, Meyler Campbell

2022 has been another eventful year for Meyler Campbell and so, in no particular order, we wanted to share the most memorable moments of the last year with you all in our ‘Round Up of 2022’.

1. Catherine Devitt stepping down as CEO.  Catherine joined Meyler Campbell as CEO in 2016, and since then has led the business and community from strength to strength. In March 2023, Catherine will step down and we will welcome her successor to their new role as Meyler Campbell CEO. You can read Catherine’s full announcement here.

2. Launch of Meyler Campbell Unlimited. Led by Guy Ashton & Alexandra Durnford, our Unlimited Programme brings together practising executive coaches, who are committed to becoming Team Coaches. The programme launched in October 2022 and you can find out more information here.

3. Graduation 2022. We celebrated another successful Graduation in September with a record amount of newly trained Mastered coaches in attendance, both in-person and via livestream. Congratulations to our new Alumni.

4. Summer & Winter Drinks. We’ve hosted two wonderful evenings this year to bring our Alumni together and we look forward to hosting many more.

5. Annual Lecture 2022 “The Good Future & Why It’s Entirely Possible”. The lecture with Futurist & Humanist Gerd Leonhard in November was a big success, with overwhelmingly positive feedback from those in attendance. If you were unable to attend, you can watch the recording here.

6. One Year of Connected+. It’s been over one year since we launched our Connected+ platform for our Mastered & Unlimited members. If you’re not enjoying the benefits of Connected+ already, find out how you can become a member here.

7. John Stopford Scholarship 2022/2023. We are delighted to continue to offer two free Mastered places for those working in the charity sector through the John Stopford Scholarship. For more information, and how to apply, click here.

8. Over 1000 Mastered graduates. This year we passed an important milestone of more than 1000 Alumni of the Mastered Programme.

2022 Graduation Essays
After a tough old year, here’s a cheering festive gift for you: a sample of the 2022 Graduation Essays. They show the community in feisty good heart – the imposter syndrome lies in shreds, and NEDS, VCs and even 10-year-olds can be coached. The essays are endearingly, ruefully honest, and we very much hope you enjoy them. Read here

2023 Playbook
And here is a gift from Meyler Campbell community member Barbara Kearney. Her playbook for 2023 is a wonderful tool to help us reflect on the year gone by and think about what’s important for us in the year ahead. Read here

Nova is led by Director Lizzie Cho, known to many of you in the community as a Meyler Campbell Alumna and the first recipient of our John Stopford Scholarship. This year, we are asking our community to join us in our Winter Charitable Appeal to help support Nova’s work by donating to the organisation directly and/or taking part in their current raffle. The families supported by Nova, very many of whom were victims of the Grenfell fire, are on the front-line of the current cost of living crisis.

We know how generous this community is and so we urge you to please support Nova’s important work

MASTERED
Our Mastered Programme is world-renowned as a top business coaching offering for leaders. We are continuously taking on new participants and commencing new syndicates throughout the year. The bespoke offering of face-to-face, virtual, or a hybrid of both, means that we can match you to syndicates with the same interests and aspirations for the programme. We continue to seek the broadest and most diverse representation across our community, and we currently are actively seeking participants for the Mastered Programme.

If you, or if anyone you know, may be interested in participating in our any of our programmes, please contact info@meylercampbell.com or call our office on +44 (0)20 8460 4790 and a member of the team will be happy to offer further information.
