Meyler Campbell Digest: January 2026

< Back to News & Opinion

Each month we share the latest from Meyler Campbell; we let you know all the news from the community and details of upcoming CPD and how you can book your place in the Events area.  Featured each month in our Learn section, we share a range of curated resources which we hope you will find useful and interesting. Near the end of the Digest, we share how you can watch previous Event Recordings and listen to the Meyler Campbell Podcast Series.

Our Community Events this January
We have enjoyed the opportunities we have had this month to connect with our community, notably at our annual Winter Drinks hosted last night. For those who were able to join us, we hope you had a wonderful time. And if you couldn’t make it, we look forward to seeing you at our Summer Drinks later in the year (the weather will be much warmer by then too!). Our ‘Class of 2026’ also hosted a networking event earlier this month with more events planned. As with all of our ‘Class of’ groups, we’re excited to see them continue to grow and learn together on their Mastered journey.

Introduction to Mastered

Are you looking for more authorship of your life?
(A 5–10 minute self-check for leaders)

Meyler Campbell alumnus, David Lancefield, is writing a book, ‘Daily strategies: how to reclaim agency and lead a life on your terms, using everyday moments‘. As part of the research base for the book, he’s running a global survey for executives, experienced professionals, and coaches exploring:

  • What shifts in life create the feeling of wanting more agency?
  • What drives it (work, life pressures, internal patterns)?
  • What blocks action and what helps people begin to make intentional changes?

It takes 5–10 minutes and is a self-assessment tool that offers you a chance to pause, think, and get a helpful nudge in a new direction. If you leave your email address at the end (optional), David will also send a short summary of the findings, and you’ll also get free access to his Udemy course ‘Becoming a Strategic Leader‘.
